Purpose
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic People Operations Manager to optimize our HR systems, oversee benefits administration, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Systems & Process Optimization: Manage and improve HRIS and related systems to boost efficiency and employee experience. Identify automation opportunities and partner with IT and vendors to ensure data accuracy and seamless integrations.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee benefits programs (health, retirement, wellness, leave), serve as the main employee contact, manage renewals, and lead education sessions to maximize employee understanding.
  • Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws, maintain policies and handbooks, lead audits, and support employee relations in alignment with legal standards.
  • Employee Relations & Terminations: Advise managers on performance and conflict resolution, lead termination processes, and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies. Collaborate with Legal and leadership on sensitive matters.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support onboarding/offboarding and stay current on HR trends, laws, and best practices to strengthen People Operations strategies.

Position Requirements (Experience & Competencies)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR systems, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and experience managing HR tech stacks.
  • Expertise in benefits administration, vendor management, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly collaborative team playerStrong communication skills, both written and verbalFluency in both Spanish and English
