Purpose
As Kueski's Senior Creative Lead, you will build and lead the “Kueski Studio,” a unified team of visual designers, copywriters, and web producers to bring Kueski's product values and brand to life for all of our customers. Delivering well-defined design direction for our mobile and web campaigns, you will lead our efforts to engage and excite our customers as we deliver products that improve the financial lives of Mexicans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Collaborate effectively with business, design, and marketing teams to align on business objectives and communicate progress of projects at all major stages of their conception, creation, and execution.
  • Strategy Implementation: Conceive and implement process, quality assessments, and design strategies to drive creative output; ensure timely completion and delivery of campaigns and projects; lead team to generate novel creative solutions for company branding, promotional campaigns, online communications and physical assets.
  • Visual Design & Content: Plan, create, and deliver tailored advertisements and campaigns with industry-leading creative; ensure that design and copywriting reflect the Kueski brand consistently and positively; supervise and guide team members to refresh and maintain the company's marketing website.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate problems before they happen and present solutions to ensure success; identify potential blockers and opportunities and communicate action plans for them in a timely manner; implement solutions that go beyond what is typical or expected.
  • Team Management: Direct the team’s daily workflow; assign projects and manage team’s capacity; remove obstacles and unblock team members; monitor deadlines and budgets; monitor the results of team efforts and propose actions for ongoing improvements; train and motivate the team to use their talents effectively.
  • Creative Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of established art and design best practices, the Mexican consumer and payments market, relevant trends in design and advertisement, and current social issues and norms; evaluate trends, assess new data, and keep up-to-date with the latest creative techniques in the creative and marketing design industry.

Position Requirements

  • Proven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role, ideally with a minimum of 7 years of digital experience for mobile and web projects
  • Strong knowledge of mobile, web, social, television media, and emerging creative technologies and practices
  • Hands-on experience in working with marketing and design teams
  • Implementing and maintaining design and copywriting best practices
  • Excellent working knowledge of design software such as Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing models
  • Proven leadership, time management, and organization skills
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills; excellent in presenting information consistently and accurately with an attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications in art, graphic design, marketing, or other relevant fields
  • Fluent in both oral and written Spanish and English
