The SEO Specialist develops and optimizes Kueski’s search engine positioning. The positioning will be through content strategies on owned media (landing pages and blog). Additionally, they must ensure that new web projects comply with on-site and off-site guidelines, as well as report the site's performance in search engines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Positioning the Kueski brand in search engines: informational, branded, and transactional keywords.
  • Designing and executing strategies to boost the presence of the organic channel in the channel mix.
  • Designing and executing strategies to enhance the performance of organic traffic channels and recommend paid keywords via SEM.
  • Defining organic keyword strategy.
  • Monitoring keywords and positioning on various platforms, such as AHREFs, SEMRush, Search Console, etc.
  • Implementing search engine optimization strategy.
  • Working with the team to enhance SEO in content creation and content scheduling.
  • Collaborating with the Development and Product team to implement site improvements.
  • Developing content marketing strategy through the blog: ToFu, MoFu, and BoFu for all Kueski products.
  • Positioning legacy and new landing pages for all Kueski products.
  • Blog configuration and maintenance (WordPress).
  • SEO on YouTube.
  • SEO on Tik Tok.
  • Monitoring user behavior in the search engine to find new brand positioning opportunities.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and search engine algorithm changes.
  • Understanding of trends in the national market, converting these into recommendations for improving acquisition campaigns.
  • Insights Generation
  • - Generating reports for internal and external stakeholders (C-level in some cases).
    - Generating insights about audiences observed in digital acquisition channels (quantitative and qualitative) via data platforms.
    - Monitoring and analyzing SEO statistics, such as redirects, click-through rates, bounce rates, and others
  • Communication with User Acquisition Insights
  • - Actively listening to recommendations for implementing and redesigning search and conversion strategies
    - Collaborating to generate analysis, tools, evaluations, and/or any topic that may positively impact user acquisition campaigns
    - Generating communication proposals based on the performance of previous campaigns and/or AB testing.
    - Collaborating with different acquisition channels to create joint strategies that positively impact the company's visibility in search engines.

Position Requirements

  • +3 years of experience in On-page and Off-page SEO: keyword research, internal linking, 301 redirects and response codes, canonicalization, etc.
  • Knowledge of WPO (Web Performance Optimization), load time improvement, compression, caching, etc.
  • Experience in developing content strategies to position the company in search engines for relevant terms.
  • Knowledge in online reputation management.
  • Knowledge in ASO (App Store Optimization).
  • Extensive experience in handling and configuring (SEO) WordPress.
  • Understanding consumer behavior in Mexico for financial, banking, and e-Commerce topics (Preferred).
  • Experience in content optimization.
  • Experience in link-building.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the impact of web architecture on SEO.
  • Experience in WordPress and other CMS.
  • Knowledge in content SEO and inbound marketing strategies.
  • Understanding of attribution models (Last-Click, Multitouch, etc.).
  • Certifications in SEO and Google Analytics (preferred).
  • Use of platforms for measuring performance in acquisition channels (Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Search Console, Google Sheets).
  • Knowledge of HTML / CSS, JS is a plus.
  • Intermediate English.
