Purpose
The Compliance Partner will ensure adherence with applicable AML/CFT regulations, compliance policies, and procedures throughout the organization. You will work on supporting every activity related to the AML/CFT Compliance Program.
Key Responsabilities
- Maintain compliance policies and procedures throughout the organization
- Conduct AML/CFT compliance risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans
- Proactively monitor and assimilate new and evolving laws and regulations
- Conduct internal investigations into potential breaches of policy or regulations, proposing both corrective and preventive measures
- Implement compliance training initiatives, ensuring all employees are well-educated in AML/CFT policies and regulations
- Collaborate with HR and Legal teams to ensure our compliance framework is seamlessly integrated with labor and legal standards
- Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of all AML/CFT compliance activities and associated documentation
- Stay informed of AML/CFT compliance trends and best practices, advocating for continual program improvements
Position Requierements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in compliance roles, preferably in a fintech/financial institution
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant AML/FT laws and regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Autonomous work style, yet also a collaborative team player with a knack for building strong relationships with leadership teams and functional departments
- Excellent analytical skills and knowledge to effectively solve problems
