The Role
We are looking for a Growth Intern who will be part of this amazing fintech and the team responsible for working on Clip’s platform solutions and driving the business results.
S/he will engage with multi-disciplinary teams (including Sales, Finance, Product, Supply, and Marketing services). S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities.
Highly motivated and detail-oriented to support our team in driving customer engagement, retention, and business expansion efforts.
This candidate must be proactive, analytic, resilient, and curious about the business and have strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish, great communication skills and be willing to continue learning. This internship offers a unique part-time commitment over one year to gain hands-on experience in growth marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), and data-driven decision-making.
What will I be doing?
- Implementing and evaluating the current strategies of each product strategy.
- Assist in developing and executing CRM campaigns to improve customer engagement and retention.
- Support the analysis of merchant data to identify trends and insights for targeted marketing strategies.
- Help manage customer segmentation and personalization strategies within the CRM platform.
- Management of invoices and purchase orders. From creation, tracking and payment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to optimize customer experiences.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to CRM and growth initiatives.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new growth strategies and customer engagement initiatives.
Technical:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data analysis and reporting, including querying, filtering, and aggregating data.
- Familiarity with Python or R for basic data manipulation and analytics is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge and eager to know marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Mailchimp, Iterable).
- Understanding of A/B testing methodologies and performance tracking, with a willingness to learn practical applications.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email marketing customization is a plus but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate
Have at least 1 year left to have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field (with the intention of learning marketing).
