The Role

We are looking for an Merchant Growth Jr Manager to be part of this amazing fast-growing Fintech. In this role at Clip, the individual will be responsible for expanding part of our existing portfolio of SMB merchants. This will involve leading a team to ensure the effective implementation of our commercial strategy, driving high productivity, and increasing sales through Clip.

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, a great analytical mindset, and excellent leadership and negotiation abilities.

What will I be doing?

  • Lead and manage a team focused on expanding and developing the merchant portfolio.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members to enhance their skills and performance via CRM metrics
  • Implement and execute the commercial strategy to drive growth and increase sales for the assigned segment.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance to ensure high productivity and achievement of targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, offering support and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with merchants, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Identify trends, competitor activity, customer needs in order to give valuable feedback to product
  • Provide regular reporting on team performance, targets progress, and market insights to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, risk and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business area like: Business Administration, Marketing or related fields
  • At least 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven success in Account Management and massive campaigns
  • Proven experience in payments industry
  • Strong understanding of fintech industry trends, products, and services, including payment solutions and digital payment processing
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) for managing merchant relationships and sales processes.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Familiarity with pipeline management and productivity measurement
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
