The Role

Join our fast-growing Fintech as Account Movements Manager in the Financial Services Business Unit and become part of an incredible journey to transform the financial services landscape. As an Account Movements Manager at Clip, you will oversee all aspects of money movement operations, ensuring seamless daily activities that shape an exceptional customer experience. You’ll play a key role in driving usage and product penetration strategies, increasing average client money balances, boosting inbound transfers, minimizing outbound transfers, and enhancing processes to support business evolution.

This role requires close collaboration with internal teams such as Product, Tech, Marketing, Legal, and Finance. You will also monitor key competitors to ensure Clip stays ahead in the market by launching innovative features, initiatives, and campaigns.

Additionally, as an Account Movements Manager, you’ll provide leadership, foster a culture of excellence, and serve as a role model aligned with the Business Unit’s core values.

What will I be doing?

  1. Work closely with other departments (Product, Tech, CX, Compliance, KYC, Fraud, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Partners, and others) to achieve business objectives.
  2. Collaborate in defining the overall account strategy.
  3. Align internal teams to meet key business goals, including adoption rate growth, balance increase, average user balance improvement, movement experience optimization, and unit economics optimization.
  4. Oversee all aspects of account movements, including SPEI regulations, SPEI participants, KPI optimization strategies, and operational performance measurement.
  5. Share responsibility for incident management to ensure reliability, business continuity, and effective communication with customers regarding account or card-related issues.
  6. Manage relationships with account partners.
  7. Contribute to improving operational processes by defining, monitoring, and reporting on key areas such as transfers, SPEI performance, incidents, optimizations, user experience, and marketing campaigns.
  8. Monitor competitors to identify potential opportunities or threats to the business.
  9. Assist in projects as directed by the Vice President.
  10. Support compliance and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or Administrative fields (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 3–5 years of experience managing bank accounts, with a focus on balances, transfers, SPEI, Banxico processes, and business development.
  • 2–3 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm for being part of a team committed to transforming how people engage with financial services.
  • Passion for financial services, payments, operational processes, and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, a highly analytical mindset, and a dedicated work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong experience in bank accounts, SPEI, CODI, and cash-in/cash-out operations.
  • Expertise in bank optimization strategies.
  • Experience in designing and implementing usage and customer behavior campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of transfer processes, as well as money-in/money-out products and customer journeys.
  • Proven team management and leadership skills
