The Role

Clip is looking for a Group Product Manager to be part of our amazing and fast – growing fintech. The position is focused on leading the Card-Not-Present (CNP) - Checkout product to grow and launch category-defining checkout solutions for merchants and consumers. This candidate will provide leadership to the CNP Product Management team, driving the team’s Product strategy, timely and quality execution, to contribute to the overall Company's goals. He/she will lead a product team focused on growing Clip’s card-not-present checkout business. Influence own team and multifunctional stakeholders to define internal and external requirements (e.g. features and functions or third-party vendors) based on an in-depth understanding of Clip´s business cycle. The successful candidate will be an outstanding product leader with significant product management experience leading high performance teams. He/She will have a proven track record of launching commercially successful products with great customer experience, on time and within budget. H/S will be able to demonstrate an ability to influence broadly across an organization and be able to form a strong and productive relationship with the technology team.

What will I be doing?

  • Define product vision with company leaders and communicate product strategy to all stakeholders.
  • Setting product roadmap, priorities, metrics, and lead product execution to launch category-defining solutions.
  • Stay updated on market trends and the competitive landscape to inform the team of new ideas, product recommendations and changing business priorities.
  • Lead team to build world-class customer experiences that drive key business metrics.
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of goals and resources. Debate and collaborate to build consensus and effectively influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • Build creative, design-forward, customer-centric products, that are highly complex underneath, yet simple and elegant to use for less tech-savvy users.
  • Establish culture and process for the team to focus on understanding and meeting customer needs through product usage metrics, user research, customer feedback, and insights from the support and sales teams.
  • Mentor and manage a growing team of product managers.
  • Implement best-in-class product development and management practices.

Ideal Candidate

  • 10+ years of experience in product management at a tech company, 5 years' experience leading and mentoring product managers
  • Experience in Fintech Companies or Payment Industries. Deep expertise in website or mobile checkout experience is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated success growing and leading high-performing product teams.
  • Track record of building, shipping, and iterating on exceptional products within an agile software development environment.
  • Able to work closely with design and technical teams and earn their respect, with prior world-class experience as a product manager. You should be familiar with or willing to learn tools like Jira, Figma, Flowcharts, Google Analytics, and BI tools like Sisense.
  • Comfortable with getting insights from sometimes incomplete data and metrics to support prioritizations & decisions. Pivot tables, A/B test significance, basic SQL should be things you are familiar with.
  • An action-oriented leader that can think creatively and balance multiple concurrent priorities in a resource-constrained, fast-growth environment.
  • Has a roll-up-the-sleeves work ethic, and an unshakeable passion for the product within a startup environment.
  • Experience in these areas a plus: fintech, online payments, consumer/business web/mobile applications
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills (English + Spanish)
