We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our fast-growing fintech team and take ownership of our Merchant Dashboard. This dashboard plays a key role in our payments vertical and integrates with other financial services products. The main challenge is building a product that better serves the needs of mid-market and large-market merchants, with a focus on reporting, business unit management, and other advanced tools.

In this role, you’ll work across both strategy and execution—defining the product vision and ensuring smooth delivery. You'll need to engage directly with merchants to understand their needs and collaborate closely with internal teams like sales and business units to align solutions with market opportunities. Strong communication skills in English and Spanish are essential for success, along with a passion for continuous learning about our products and industry.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

3+ years of experience in product management or related roles, such as project management, business analysis, or product operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic

1. Shape and maintain the product strategy to ensure alignment with business goals.
2. Own the short-term product roadmap, balancing priorities and market needs.
3. Define, track, and maintain KPIs and OKRs to measure product success.
4. Engage with stakeholders and gather feedback to guide product direction.
5. Communicate the product vision and mission to align and inspire the team.

Operational

1. Conduct user discovery through surveys, interviews, and direct interactions with merchants and business teams.
2. Lead the product development lifecycle: problem identification, data-supported validation, design sprints, and execution.
3. Manage the Product Backlog: write user stories, epics, and ensure smooth execution.
4. Lead a cross-functional team (engineering, design, sales, etc.) and collaborate to deliver solutions.
5. Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, and stand-ups.

Technical Knowledge

1. Proven experience leading technical products as a Product Manager or system engineer, with a focus on integration management.
2. Strong skills in gathering and organizing requirements, including writing functional specifications, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
3. Basic knowledge of SQL and programming concepts to facilitate communication with engineers and to manipulate and better understand data.
4. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma to collaborate with design teams and turn concepts into prototypes.
5. Comfortable reviewing technical designs, test strategies, and system architectures to ensure alignment with product goals.
6. Experience managing third-party vendors: evaluating options, integrating solutions, and working closely with leadership on vendor relationships.
7. Fluent in agile methodologies and experienced with tools like Jira and Confluence to manage workflows and foster collaboration.
8. Familiarity with payment processing or aggregation is a plus.
