We are seeking an experienced Performance Media Operations Lead with 10+ years of experience to lead our media acquisition operations team for TPV reader sales in our ecommerce and marketplaces. The ideal candidate will lead, coach, and develop the team, ensuring smooth media implementation, proactive KPI tracking, and action planning. This role requires a strong understanding of media strategy and collaboration in agile squad environments with CRO, UX, and Supply teams.

The Role:

  1. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of media specialists, ensuring growth and operational success across channels like META, Google, Criteo, and Amazon Ads.
  2. Operational Oversight: Take ownership of all media acquisition operations, ensuring the team implements plans effectively, prioritizes tasks, and meets business goals.
  3. Agile Collaboration: Work within cross-functional squads alongside CRO, UX, and Supply teams to ensure smooth media implementation and alignment with business objectives.
  4. Media Strategy & Implementation: Stay updated on the latest media tools and features to guide the team in leveraging new opportunities for campaign optimization.
  5. KPI Ownership & Reporting: Proactively report on key performance indicators, analyze gaps, and develop strategies to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  6. Analytical Rigor: Ensure the use of robust analysis methodologies, fostering curiosity and data-driven decision-making. Use data to inform strategy and action plans.
  7. Technical Skills: Utilize SQL and Python (at least at a beginner level) to support data analysis and media performance evaluation.
  8. Project Management & Prioritization: Organize team priorities and ensure the timely execution of media campaigns while maintaining operational excellence.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: 8-10 years in media operations, performance media strategy, and digital acquisition campaign management.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams with strong coaching and organizational skills.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in squads with CRO, UX, and Supply teams, using agile methodology for media operations and campaign execution.
  • Technical Knowledge: High proficiency in media channels (META, Google, Criteo, Amazon Ads) and hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills, able to report performance and propose data-driven strategies based on insights.
