The Role

As a Product UI/UX Researcher, you will be responsible for deeply understanding the needs, behaviors, and motivations of our users. You will conduct research to inform the design and development of our product lines, ensuring they are not only functional but also delightful to use. Your insights will be crucial in guiding the design process, making data-driven decisions, and continuously improving the user experience.

What I will be doing

  1. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis, to gather insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points.
  2. Create and maintain detailed user personas based on research findings, helping the product and design teams to keep the user at the center of the design process.
  3. Develop comprehensive user journey maps to identify opportunities for enhancing the user experience across all touchpoints.
  4. Plan, execute, and analyze usability tests to evaluate the effectiveness of product designs and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Analyze user behavior data (e.g., usage metrics, A/B test results) to uncover actionable insights and trends that can guide product design and development.
  6. Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure research findings are effectively integrated into the product development process.
  7. Synthesize and communicate research findings in a clear and actionable manner, presenting insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX research methodologies, tools, and best practices, and apply them to improve our research processes.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI research, preferably in the fintech industry or related fields.
  • Proven experience in conducting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a straightforward manner.
  • Proficient in research tools such as UserTesting, Lookback, Optimal Workshop etc.. The experience in analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc. would be preferred.
  • Deep understanding of user-centric design principles with a genuine interest in improving the financial well-being of users.

Schedule: Hybrid Scheme - 2 days per week.
