The Role

We are looking for an iOS Developer to be part of this amazing and fast – growing fintech. This candidate will be part of the team responsible for software and tools to support and implement PayClip’s core payment processing infrastructure. S/He will develop and experiment programs with different technologies. This person will be willing to experiment with new technologies to reach Clip customers, the role includes in the scope becoming the experts on content usage and customer insights. The successful candidate will have experience with background in Swift, Objective-C, and Cocoa Touch, user interfaces and Scrum/Agile methodologies. S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. This candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish and be willing to continue learning and loving technology.

What will I be doing?

1. Test mobile app functionality iOS, and track testing across new releases of software, mobile OS, etc.
2. Implement test-case tracking and test suite automation where appropriate.
3. Work with Customer advocates to resolve issues with mobile applications.
4. Help debug and reproduce defects in mobile applications on *iOS phones and tablets.
5. Contribute to continual improvement in testing infrastructure and tools, process, and methodology.
6. Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues

Ideal Candidate:

1. Solid knowledge of Swift UI
2. Understanding of testing procedures, test case management, technical aptitude and willingness to work hard and learn.
3. Ability to work with people, debug issues and problems.
4. Knowledge in consuming RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
