The Role

We are looking for an iOS Developer to be part of this amazing and fast – growing fintech. This candidate will be part of the team responsible for software and tools to support and implement PayClip’s core payment processing infrastructure. S/He will develop and experiment programs with different technologies. This person will be willing to experiment with new technologies to reach Clip customers, the role includes in the scope becoming the experts on content usage and customer insights. The successful candidate will have experience with background in Swift, Objective-C, and Cocoa Touch, user interfaces and Scrum/Agile methodologies. S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. This candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish and be willing to continue learning and loving technology.

What will I be doing?

1. Architect and build (iOS or Android) apps under a multi repository SDKs ecosystem.
2. Separation of responsibility, clean coding
3. Define and maintain code quality.
4. Ensure apps are performant and reliable.
5. Good understanding of iOS architecture, patterns and open-sources libraries.
6. Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
7. Contribute to improvements in process and infrastructure.
8. Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies.

Ideal Candidate:

1. 3+ years of experience working with iOS preferable in a role within the Fintech space.
2. Experience using iOS devices.
3. Strong knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, and Cocoa Touch.
4. Solid understanding of software patterns in iOS.
5. Swift UI
6. Swift packages
7. Experience with Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
8. Solid knowledge of git.
9. Experience with Agile methodologies.
