The Role

We are looking for a Checkout Sales Manager to be part of this amazing and fast – growing Fintech. We are looking for proactive, dynamic people and team players, with great organizational capacity, accustomed to handle multiple tasks and detail oriented. He/She will be responsible for bringing in new merchants to Clip´s Checkout solution (medium and large), act as a hunter and senior advisor, external-facing ambassador for Clip products, develop a solid pipeline of leads and potencial clients, use network to arrange meetings with potencial companies to prospect new business, display a strong understanding of our clients needs and sell Clips solutions to help clients to optimize their payments operations; as well as working together with product, tech and marketing team to develop new solutions and drive new revenues to the company, be responsible for the end to end negotiations, consultative approach to the clients, advise and educate clients on upcoming products. Experience in management is essential, as this position will involve a team.

What will I be doing?

  • Lead a sales team to achieve targets and results and develop strategic current relationships with Merchants and decision makers
  • Have a sales methodology, prospect, negotiate and close deals in a short time of period.
  • Understand the ecommerce sales cycle.
  • Explore new strategic partnerships with ecommerce platforms that may support the accelerated growth of the company.
  • Resolve within internal and external stakeholders to successfully implement measurable projects that may support the accelerated growth for the company.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public accountant, Administrations, or Financial related
  • +6 years of relevant experience with emphasis in negotiation and building & managing strategic partnerships, client relationship management and business development in the Payments Industry. Stakeholder management in a matrix organization is a must (internal and external).
  • At least +5 years of experience (mandatory) in the payment industry, preferred proven track record of developing sales pipelines and exceeding sales targeting on digital payments (ecommerce, checkout, app, etc).
  • Experience leading and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives for organizations.
  • Experience with ambiguity and ability to work in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, business development, client relationship management, consulting services, and project management are required.
  • Self-directed, driven and motivated with demonstrated analytical, negotiation and business development skills.
