The Role

We are looking for a Product Intern to be part of this amazing and fast–growing fintech.

As part of Sales & Logistics Enablement team, you will be on charge of learning most of your time, with focus on:

• How a Payments Platform works through all the players in the Mexican banking system
• How to identify users challenges and how are related with the platform
• How to provide support to Ops teams that help Clip’s customers to have the best experience
• How to perform an Analysis and present your result to different audiences (team members, stakeholders, C-level executives)

What will I do?

• • We’ll provide you with a complete understanding of the Mexican fintech ecosystem and how Clip products work. You’ll learn about product vision, product roadmaps, lifecycle /software development, agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
  • You’ll work with data scientists, salespeople, brands, and developers. Furthermore, you will also work to ensure that quality assurance testing is done right.
  • You’ll learn about sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, demos, and daily standups.
  • You will help the Commercial teams improve their operation with technological solutions and participate in product implementations for our Merchants. You'll work closely with Product, Tech, Commercial and Support areas teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative insights to develop hypotheses and suggest product improvements.
  • Support Product Managers with the backlog support all the processes involved from definition to execution of a product initiative.
  • You’ll learn how to gather and organize requirements and write functional specifications, product request documents, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
    
    

Education Level & Work Experience

• Currently studying Engineering, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or any related field. This position it's only for students.

• At least 1 year before graduation date. (May-June 2025)
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• You have contributed to delivering value to users through digital products/projects in a professional or academic context.
• You are familiar with Scrum or other agile development frameworks.
• You are familiar with product discovery frameworks such as Working Backwards,
• Analytical skills on SQL or Business Data platforms such Clevertap, Tableau, etc.
• Proficient on data spreadsheet and pivot tables.
• English language proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You’re intellectually curious and think creatively.
• Be a critical thinker who positions the user first
• You are empathetic
• An entrepreneurial mindset is key!

Preferred, but not required, qualifications:

• Active participant in extra curricular activities, as leader the better.
• You have worked on digital projects and are familiar with technical concepts and terms.
• Participated in exchange programs in other countries, preferably in the English language.
