Purpose of the Job:

We are looking for a Collection Analyst to be part of this amazing fast-growing Fintech. At Clip He/She will be responsible for monitoring and proactively contacting customers who have outstanding payments, assisting them in resolving their financial obligations, and maintaining accurate records of collection activities. The contributions will directly impact the financial health of our customers and the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collections Management: Monitor accounts with overdue payments and initiate contact with customers via phone, email, or other communication channels.
  2. Implement effective strategies to recover outstanding debts while maintaining a positive customer experience.
  3. Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers, considering their financial circumstances.
  4. Customer Relations:Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to outstanding payments.
  5. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and federal laws and regulations governing debt collection practices in Mexico.
  7. Reporting: Generate and provide regular reports on collection performance, including key metrics such as collection rates, delinquency rates, and aging reports.

Technical knowledge

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Proficiency in using collection software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.

Education Level & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 - 4 years of experience in collections or a similar role in the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of Mexican financial regulations and debt collection laws.
