The Role:

We are looking for a Procurement Team Lead. She / He will be responsible for the team support and supervision of internal procurement and vendor management processes. Will act as a leader in numerous initiatives of the financial roadmap, such as audits and process improvement projects. This role will need to set a communication plan with the main Stakeholders of each category to improve the customer experience and perception of the General Procurement service deliveries.

What will I be doing?

1. Lead and supervise the end-to-end Procurement & Sourcing processes and incident response; in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
2. Partner with internal stakeholders implementing effective sourcing processes.
3. Manages escalations from internal/external customers, represent, support, guide and develop other direct and indirect reports.
4. Responsible for critical operation categories acting as a buyer for tactical tasks like PO issuance and managing negotiations for this line of businesses.
5. Process approver to terms and conditions and supplier agreements of the procurement specialists under his /her vertical.
6. Challenge legacy processes and ways of working being creative, dynamic and developing strategies to speed up business growth.
7. Drive and Implement internal and external Audit agenda
8. Implement best practices for supplier selection and supplier screening, elaborate Standard Operations Procedures of the area
9. Drive the change management of the Finance / Procurement transformation process. Act as a business partner and represent Procurement in this Project.
   

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, or a related field. (Budgeting background is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management and supplier relationship management, preferably in the financial technology industry
• Must have +5 years in Procurement or Sourcing areas, with proven experience managing a team for at least 3 years.
• Regional Experience required, Argentina knowledge is a plus
  

Technical knowledge:

1. Good mathematical and analytical skills
2. Strong computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point) G Suite
3. Fluency in English written and verbal
4. Effective Communicator and Negotiator
5. Creative problem solver, comfortable in fast paced environments, and reliable under pressure.
6. Must have a technological aptitude
7. ERP Knowledge (Oracle Netsuite is a plus)
